---> Politics is really one of the most stupid discoveries that man has made to date. It was and continues to ve rooted on man's thirst for power and the abuse of it. It's a disease that spreads easily across all races, and just like a virus, it eats up all your healthy cells, moving from one part to another, until it consumes all possible area.
----->In its social aspect, Politics is being in a position, having authority, "OR" knowing somebody who's in position and has authority. Man takes advantage of it for his own benefit: to get what he wants, what he needs.
----->We are all affected by it, in one way or another! In fact, you will see and smell..and feel politics not only in the government, but in all organizations. From the school where you study, up to the company you are currently working for. In my opinion, discrimination, unfairness, and INJUSTICE will only exist depending on how weak or strong is the existence of politics.
----->In organizations or companies, you would normally notice that there are certain privileges given to some people, but others do not receive any. Sometimes, you would just suddenly think that it's unfair. Most companies normally offers great opportunities for career advancements. But a lot of times, these opportunities will only be given to some people based on the following reasons:
- They have been with the company the longest time
- They are close friends with the boss
- They are close to people who are friends with the boss
- They are "suckers"
----->Another thing that you might notice is when people are given more privileges than the others. Most of their requests are getting approved in no time and with almost no conditions. But the others? It's either it doesn't get approved, approved with conditions, or approved after a long time of waiting. It's a shame to think about but wether we like it or not, It's Reality! And most of the time, the truth hurts.
----->Suddenly, some people cannot accept the inequality and voices it out. Who can they run to? The Management! You need to file formal complaints and present proofs, witnesses, and evidences. Normally, companies would have what they so call "HR" departments. Where in you always here them say "We're here to listen. We will protect you. We are your voice in the company." Yeah Right! But the fact behind it is that they only do it if you are "somebody" and not "nobody". And in reality, their department name really means Human Remorse. And in the end you would just really regret trusting them and having hope that they are there to help.
----->This is because definitely, as part of MANAGEMENT, they will protect each other! And they can use all their power to make it appear that you're the one who's mistaken in the first place. And once you started to feel like giving up, then it would be Human Retreat Department. And if, unfortunately, you can't believe this realization and you can't accept it, and you can't take it anymore, then most probably you need to go back to them. This time, as the
Human Resign Department. Wonderful! Now what happened to all your efforts? What did you get after all the battles you've fought for your rights, and for what you believe in? GONE! It will just serve as a learning experience. It will just be a lesson. Is it good? It depends on what lessons you've learned, right? So what is the lesson you've learned?
If you will fight for what you believe in, and the person involved is one of those "somebody", make sure that you are not "nobody". YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW POLITICS WORKS! It's either you have a power, or you know somebody who has it.
Indeed, Politics exists everywhere. It brings out all the inequality in an organization, company, and even a country. Having it around, will assure us the INJUSTICE will always be present in our everyday life.
